Visiting Ruth at lunch

Back to Chilren's for Reggie's ear surgery. After finally getting some answers as to his irritability and poor listening, we were gung ho to get the tubes places to increase drainage. It all went smoothly and painlessly. Well, except for the bill which was over $4,000 (for a 10 minute surgery... sheesh!).

He was out & playing within an hour

and all afternoon!

Reggie's teacher's Valentine

We'd been brainstorming how to help the kids earn their own money for summer camps. Sloan was going to get them some fence-painting jobs, but the weather was too lousy. So when I saw a pooper-scooper job come up, we jumped on it!

The kids didn't share our enthusiasm

Until they got some bling!
well, 2 of them did

From there Sloan took the boys to Monster Jam
Unfortunately it was during nap time, so they were in a bit of a haze

I panicked one afternoon because I couldn't find Luke ANYWHERE!
oh wait. he's fast asleep under Ruth's desk!

This guy was doing SO much better with improved hearing. Until he got a cold. But otherwise - big improvement!

Such darling pictures! I can't believe how much Ruthie looks like Tess and how much Drew looks like Sloan. Glad to see such happy times! Those tubes were a life saver for Eric. He had four sets but now has some hearing loss from scar tissue. What's a person to do? We love you and miss seeing you and your family. Give all our love!
