After Christmas, we had a week at home to relax.
We went to the park
did science experiments
Celebrated our 11th anniversary!
Sadly, after 11 years, I couldn't pick him out a decent gift. I got him a bow tie, since Luke & Reggie are so into their bow ties lately, but he said it wasn't gonna happen. After he explained his shoulders are too broad, I could see his point (but still think he could pull it off!).
Reggie & Luke did soccer camps
And Drew found his twin at Jumpoline!
playing with Christmas presents
and just sittin around
Then we made the trek to Utah
In the truck, it's fun to have Drew ride up front with us. He gazes at Sloan for hours
pit stop
made it!
Grandpa taught us one of his dad's tricky rhymes
And we played charades
This is our cute nephew Salmon
Luke & cousin Tarik
Caleb & Ruth
Cougar Lanes!
Reggie & Dad were feelin it
but Luke got a boo boo
Reggie & I spent a day at Park City
lunch at the lodge is the best!
showin off on the side trails
love being outside with this guy!
back home to take down decorations with Grandpa
Bookstore date with Ruth
love this passionate, intelligent book worm!
Sledding on the lawn

even Drew!
he was happy as could be getting pushed down & pulled up -over and over

Meanwhile Uncle Warren hard at work
with his little proteges

There was a major winter storm the day we had planned to leave, so we stayed a couple extra days. This gave us a chance to explore the new Provo Rec Center and indoor pool - 10/10!
So cheap and so many things to do & see there. Game changer!
Sloan braved the storm to get back for work, and on January 5th, the kids and I took the train to the airport.
Thanks Gma & Gpa for a relaxing, delicious visit. We love our evening chats and watching movies with you. Thanks for welcoming us even after the Christmas crowd had gone - we're so glad we made the trip!
