Swimming at Scott's

Katie & Mike taught us Texas Hold 'em last Sunday night. We loved it! Ruthie was devastated to be sent to bed while we played (she cried for 2 hrs).

 Tangled rehearsals - this one in the nursery at church. It's pretty crazy juggling all the gear, coordinating w bandmates & practice rooms, and working a 2yr old into the mix. I often ask myself "Why??"

                       This is Trajan whom we love. He's part of a scream-o band called "In Dread Response" and brings tons of enthusiasm, experience and laughter to the band (good thing - keeps Sloan & I from snapping each other's necks in rehearsal!). 

We illegally put a bunch of these posters up around the city w wallpaper glue. We felt like we were out on a top secret mission. Started out a fun adventure, but...

Ruthie yelled pretty much the 

whole time 

"Let me ouuuuuuuuuuut!"

But despite all her yelling, she really is a little angel and has a great imagination. My favorite thing lately is to catch her reading to herself. 

Even better when it's with wings and a leg warmer.

ps - anyone have tips for helping your kid stop sucking their fingers?
